All The Charlotte Little Ones

Well, our MI family in NC has dwendeled.  We had one last BBQ to say goodbye to the Lambrix & Kelly's.  We will miss them dearly.

Cousin Nathaniel Visits

Cousin Nathaniel came for a visit at camp Aunt Sherry & Uncle Jay.  We had a blast - esp Emma & Luke.

 Knights Baseball Game

Luke petting a lizard.  He wouldn't pet the snake but loved the lizard.

Emma had no fear petting the snake.

Watching in amazement as Nathaniel lays on a bed of nails.

Enjoying Schiele Museum

Fake smiles.  I had to ask them to show me their teeth.

Emma crafted this duct tape butterfly all by herself.  She had a vision & was very determined.

Emma was so worn out that she fell asleep at the dinner table.  A first.

My sweet exhausted girl.

Emma's Spring Dance Recital

(Playing Catch Up)

Emma had her first real dance recital in June.  She has been taking dance lessons at the Y this past year & sometimes loves it & sometimes hates it.  According to her she "loves to dance her own way not always how they make me."  I was a little nervous as to how she would perform.  I thought she might do a little but stand there most of the time & watch her friends, the audience, anything shiny.  She did FANTASTIC!  That will teach me to ever doubt her abilities.  She knew most every step.  She probably danced the most out of the 5 girls in her group.  And she was just the most adorable ballerina!!

Up on stage for her tap dance

Emma's the one on the left.

Ballet time now.

A flower & hugs from daddy after her performance.

Squishy kisses from daddy & mommy

So proud of her medal she "won"

Hugs from Grandpa & Grandma

I was room mom, so here is what we did behind the scenes.

On our way to our first performance.  Had to sit & wait while they brought carpet out to walk on - 3 girls fell walking in those tap shoes!

Patiently & nervously waiting to go on stage.

So happy.

So proud of you Peanut!  We love you!
