Emma's first Christmas was pretty laid-back. She pretty much slept through most of it. We woke up and hung out most of the morning and then opened up presents around noon. I'm sure in a few years we'll long for the days of waking up, especially after hearing that Chad's kids were up at 5:00 AM to open up presents.

Emma's First Christmas
Yesterday we made our first attempt to head to church with Emma. The Doctor said to wait for one month, but we figured if she didn't get sick from seeing Santa (not from him, but from all those germy kids) she'd be okay paying Jesus a little visit. We headed out 40 minutes early and our church was already sending people to Charlotte Catholic H.S. for mass in the gym. Not what we were hoping for but it worked out great. Emma got a little more car time and slept through the entire mass. All and all it was a great first trip back to church.
