We headed up to Borders this morning for storytime. Emma enjoyed watching all the kids and blowing raspberries at the ones sitting directly infront of us. Luckily she hasn't learned to do the raspberry while eating so I'm still safe.
It's blazin' hot here so we haven't been up to much outside. We have been playing with Shannon and Charley. Charley is 15 mos and just loves Emma. She gives her kisses. And yesterday Emma leaned over and gave Charley a big kiss back!
Emma doesn't like to play in her crib anymore...I guess she thinks its just for sleeping. So this is how Bas gets her to stay in there:
And it worked...she even slept for more then 11 minutes!
Monday night we headed over to a friends surprise engagement party. It was a good time. Emma enjoyed all the people making a fuss about her. She even wasted her first wave good-bye on a stranger! We were headed out the door and a guy she had been playing peek-a-boo with waved good-bye. She raised her arm and wiggled her fingers. I'm taking that as her first wave, even if it was to a stranger.

This probably occured after an 11 minute nap...
Emma started eating Puffs. They are kind of like a cherrio but airier and dissolve in her mouth (for safety). It is so fun watching her work on her pincer grip.
