Just Hanging Out

Tuesday Emma and I headed down to Kings Mountain with our Neighbors Shannon & Charley. Charley is 16 mos. We were going to do a little hiking and picnicing. Unfortunatley, Charley found an ant hill to play in. So we had a mild emergency...after striping her down and getting all the ants off we headed into town for medicine. Luckily she wasn't allergic and really didn't even seem to be bothered by the bites (and there were a lot...poor girl!) She was a great trooper. So hiking was out but we still got to picnic...the girls had to eat :-)
We just arrived at the park. Don't the girls look so cute. The car ride was about 45 minutes so they talked (babbled) to each other and even passed toys back and forth.

This is Emma's first encounter with farm animals. See the chickens behind her on the left. I don't think she ever noticed them. When I tried to point them out she would just look at my finger....she'll learn :)

Emma is now able to sit up by herself from a laying down position. So she rolls over to the fireplace sits up and pulls all her toys off. She is so smart!
