All the guys did great - - Congrats BJ, Jay, Kevin, E-ray, Chad, Rodney, Kyle & Tanner!
When we got to DC Friday we went straight over to the Armory so BJ and Kevin could pick up their race packets. But the strangest thing happened when we got there...they guys were attacked by Big Foot!
Then it was off to the hotel to see Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Jay.

Mom, Emma and I headed off to the start line...a little late, all the guys had already ran through!
So then we were off to mile 10 to cheer for them. We saw all the guys here except dad...you must have blended into the crowd. Emma had fun time watching all the balloons and clappers.
There were a couple guys like this one who carried the Flag the entire race. Go Marines!
We were lucky enough to meet up with Peg, Dean-o and Maureen Kelly at the race. (Don't worry releatives of Chelle Kelley if you don't recognize these people...they are not related to us...they spell Kelley wrong!)

On Monday before we headed back to CLT we took a detour over to MD to see BJ's Auntie D and Uncle Jack. It was a great visit and Emma had fun telling stories to Auntie D.
