Michele's 30th Birthday

Let's see...what's been going on...
We've had a fun Aug. It's been hot so we've played outside in the water a lot - Emma loves the water. She is changing so much and now starting to talk all the time. She counted to 12 the other day (sometimes she forgets the #8, but she'll get it soon). And she sings most of her ABC's. She likes to help me clean & cook. I now have to prepare all food to cook on the floor so she can help. And her new favorite phrase is "oh-no". If she drops something, sees something out of place, gets dirty - you name it & it pretty much gets an "oh-no".

This is a truck we saw on the road. Made me giggle.
In handwritten marker it says:
Communism is the change you all voted for?
Not such a good idea now, huh.

The Criterium bike race was in uptown so we checked it out. It was hot!
My sweaty little girl.

Kevin, Michele & Eray making Emma laugh. She was trying to figure out how they could be in front of her and in the camera also.

We celebrated Michele's 30th birthday Friday with a surprise party. It's about time she turned 30!
This is the yummy cake I made :-) The bottom layer was cheesecake, with strawberry jam and the top layer was regular strawberry cake. YUM!
