We had a fun weekend at Hilton Head Island. Lots of time spent at the beach with our little water bug. Emma loved having Olivia around 24 hours. They played great together - - probably because there were no toys around to fight over ;)
We rented bikes so we wouldn't have to end up carrying the girls to the beach. It was so much fun! This was the first time Emma has rode on a bike like this & she loved it.
At the entrance to the beach there was a little splash deck. The girls had a fun time in there running away from the fountains.
We even got to see an alligator. Not in the ocean. He was in a pond by our pool. The girls loved feeding him goldfish (the cracker).
Emma began filling her bucket up, carrying it on her head back to the beach & singing. It took me a minute to figure out that she was acting like the little girl in the end of the Jungle Book movie who carries the water back to her village on her head after meeting Mowgli. Hmmm...think she watches too much TV?!?!
All weekend we'd make a sandcastle & Emma would immediately stomp on it. Well, Bas was finally able to make on she didn't stomp on.
Emma wanted to float with her tube in the ocean. Not so sure she needed it since her booty is sitting on the ground.

I don't think Emma could get any cuter than that last picture!
Maybe it's not that she watches too much tv. . .maybe it's that we read that book every night. . .I mean every single night (okay, it's probably the dumb tv/movie).
