Back in CLT

Well, we ended up in CLT a week early by taking a left at Nashville. Yep, the trip would have been much shorter if I would have just decided that morning not to go to Florida. But it didn't hit me until we were a 100 miles outside of Nashville. Anyway, Emma (& Sherry) did great in the car for the extra few hours. It was a productive week. Mom & I painted both bathrooms. I've been wanting to paint over the red in my bathroom since I first painted it 8 years ago. And after painting the hall bath I found out Basil has felt that way about the blue/purple color in there. :)

Also during this trip Emma has changed my moms name from GG to Geeg to grandma. She still flips between them all but I think Sherry will end up grandma.

We hit up the renovated Discovery Place & Emma liked rockin' out on the pots & pans.

They also added a rope bridge to the rain forest exhibit. Emma became a pro just zipping across it.

We also watched the 3D turtle movie. Adorable in those glasses!

Back at dance class. She does great now, but I still have to sit in there with her. I just go in there and sit - I don't even try to not be in the room anymore. It's not worth fighting her tears. Look how cute she is. I just love it!

Emma wanted to help paint the bathroom. Since I'm not ready to let her help with that, she was able to use all our tools & paint the stool. She did a great job! (BTW, my great grandpa made that stool. This must be the 50th coat of paint on it. And sorry Justin, the new coat of paint covered up all your bb's you shot into it!)
