He's Awake!!!

We thought we would share a quick video of Luke during the 15 seconds that he was awake today.

Luke had his first Drs. visit today. He weighed in at 6 lbs 14 oz, which is pretty normal to have lost a few. What was not so normal but harmless is that we have a yellow baby. Luke tested negative for jaundice in the hospital but when we woke up this weekend he was looking a little tan. When we got to the doctor's office, his eyes looked like the werewolf off the Thriller video. Okay, maybe not that bad but we never noticed because Luke's eyes are never open. This also explains his sleepiness, which is increased because of the jaundice.

So all is good. He needs some more sunlight (which is awesome since it is going to rain tomorrow at least) and will go away in a few days.

We did have to run uptown after Michelle's appt to get Luke's blood tested. That was terrible-5 days old and two blood tests. At least he's healthy, so we're truly thankful for that.
