Weekend

We had a nice little weekend at Casa de Lyberg.  Saturday we got some work done on the patio.  It isn't too often you can actually move backwards on a project but that was the case today.  There was one spot that was really bothering me so I figured it was back to the drawing board on getting the pavers set.  The project will be much better off as will our kids' knees, since they won't be tripping over every uneven paver.

Once that wrapped up we headed over to a few BBQ's.  Emma had a ball at Jen and Rich's; she roasted the world's biggest marshmallow and saw some chickens.  Then we headed over to Curt and Deb's to say hi to them before they hit the road.

Sunday we had a tree fall next door, so we (thankfully) had a whole crew of neighbors come out to help take the fallen part down. It went pretty quick and it's always good to catch up with the neighborhood folk.

No way it gets any cuter than this.

Sometimes you have to go backwards to move forward.  This the before shot. As you can see it is going to look good--it just won't look good right now.

I've been playing with this new app on my phone.

so right, it doesn't get cuter than the first shot, but the 3rd is a close second...Aunt Sly...
