Added more photos to this post. Emma had a great birthday. We planned an outside princess party for Dec 3rd & it worked! It was a perfect 50 degree afternoon. We set up the bounce house in the back yard. The kiddos all decorated their own gingerbread princess or prince. We had a pinata that was very difficult to break into. The first round all the kiddos were blindfolded & took a swing. The next two rounds the kiddos just took a swing. Still no one even punctured it. So we cut a few holes in it hoping to help the kiddos. Still no luck. So Bas got to beat it open. The kiddos we're so excited to see all the candy & goodies fall out. It was super cute. Then it was time for barbie cake! Thanks to all our family & friends for making Emma's birthday so special. But it wasn't over yet. On her actual birthday I brought cookies into her class. She was wearing an adorable pink crown that Miss Jeri had made for her & all the kiddos sang. Then we went out for a family dinner at Cabo's. They sang happy birthday to Emma, which she was shy in the corner, then hit her in the nose with a tiny cool whip pie. She didn't like that but did a great job to shake it off & not cry. It was such a fun week celebrating her birthday! She's already planning her 5yr old party.
