Back to CLT

We've been back in CLT for a couple weeks now - but I'm just finally getting caught up!
Let's see...what's been going on. Mom & Dad Kelley were in town over the 4th. Then the Colemans stopped by for a night on their way down to HHI. Great to see them and finally meet Addie. Bas has been busy getting ready for 24HOB ride next weekend. He's doing a great job and I'm sure the event will be very successful. Emma and I have been enjoying this nice cool July. It was only in the upper 80's last week - - delightful! Emma is still taking swim lessons. She is doing great - she doesn't mind going under water :-)

Oh, and Emma's new word is "yeah". She is so agreeable...

When gma & gpa Kelley were in town we headed down to the zoo in Columbia. Lybergs - we'll have to go back when it's not pouring rain....I'm sure you will think it is a little more enjoyable!!
Here we are...ready to check out the animals

This was the most active zoo I've ever been too. There were bear fights, the monkeys were swinging around and yelling like crazy, the turtles were running. All very exciting.

The gorilla's were the only ones taking it easy.

Checking out the elephants

This is mom and dad's official anniversary picture. I made them spend their 33rd anniversary at the zoo :-)

Emma loved the carousel when she was watching it...wasn't too sure after she got on

But as soon as it started going around and her tiger went up and down she started yelling "weee"

Happy Independence Day!

Emma, where are your stars?

There they are!

Look at all those curls!

GG & Emma watching fireworks. Emma did not like them! She asked me to take her inside.

Exhausted from all the excitement she didn't even wake up when I was changing her into jammies.
